Item description from the seller
Pre-owned – Good
“Where the f**k did you get that jacket?” Get used to this if you buy. One of a kind biker jacket by none other than Jeff Sebelia, winner of Project Runway, season 3. All of the distressing and imperfections are either intentional or simply add to its charm. Old-timey nylon lining is ripped in places (see pics) but in such way that it adds to the piece in a “gutter punk” way (for a reference see Penelope Spheeris’ Decline of Western Civ part III). I made no modifications: it’s exactly like I bought it so long ago. Simply put, it’s beat up to perfection. Button missing on the right breast pocket. Stitching and studs (some of which are missing, see pics) are hand-done: leather and denim all the way down, a labor of love. Go to the dive bar on the right night and this baby WILL get you laid, no lie. Automatically the dopest jacket you (might) own.
* From an interview with the designer: “After 6 years of being a production designer, having worked with artists like OutKast, Puff Daddy, Metallica… I wanted to try fashion design. I started by making outfits for Lenny Kravitz, Marilyn Manson, Gwen Stefani, Cher, Elton John, and others.” Here’s the link to the piece, “Designer Spotlight”: https://www.malemodelscene.net/menswear/jeffrey-sebelia/
